The story only ended up requiring five,’ the source told .
The final episode is called Jocelyn Forever, which suggests it will focus on Depp’s pop star character, who turns to self-help guru and cult leader Tedros (Tesfaye) after having a nervous breakdown.
Abel, 33, recently addressed the backlash and insisted the sex scenes in the show aren’t meant to be ‘overtly sexy.'
Asked in particular about a particularly graphic scene in episode two, he told GQ magazine: ‘No.
There’s nothing sexy about it. When we use Basic Instinct as a reference, we’re using Verhoeven.'
’Verhoeven is the king of ’90s satire thriller—yes, there’s moments of sexy in his films but there are other moments that are very cheesy and hilarious,’ he explained.
The Save Your Tears hitmaker added: ‘However you’re feeling watching that scene, whether it’s discomfort, or you feel gross, or you feel embarrassed for the characters.
’It’s all those emotions adding up to: This guy is in way over his head, this situation is one where he is not supposed to be here,’ he concluded.
Another shock: There is no official word on why an episode was cut from its planned six-episode run
‘The season ended up being five episodes when it was all said and done after Sam took over and made significant changes.

apparently while driving to her house.
Meanwhile, Destiny and Chaim come to an agreement that she will hang around the house and basically spy on everything, reporting back to Chaim… which was the solution they agreed on after Chaim shot down Destiny’s suggestion to simply kill Tedros.
No sense: There were no shortage of viewers voicing their displeasure on social media, while many were also surprised with the revelation that next week’s fifth episode — Jocelyn Forever — will be the series finale, despite HBO originally issuing a six-episode order, while one fan perhaps put it most succinctly: ‘This show makes no f***in sense'
Bash: Many fans continue to keep bashing The Weeknd’s acting, while others reacted to the episode’s shocking moments — including one shot where Tedros blindfolds Jocelyn and then gropes and masturbates her while many others look on and say nothing — and others have started to turn on Jocelyn — claiming she has gone from being a victim to a villain herself
Mike: Like he teased in last week’s episode, Tedros brought in music producer Mike Dean, who was introduced by driving up to Jocelyn’s house and getting out of his car carrying a huge bong he was smoking…
apparently while driving to her house
Groping: After chatting with Chloe, Destiny goes and listens to the song, offering a few notes, which Tedros decides to address in quite the strange way — blindfolding Jocelyn, whispering that she should forget that anyone is in the room…
and proceeding to grope and fondle her while she sings, with everyone watching… while no one says a thing
Destiny also revealed what Tedros’ real name is — Mauricio Costello Jackson — who has ‘ghetto a** parents* — adding he was in prison a decade ago for kidnapping his girlfriend and torturing her for three days.
Destiny meets the talented Chloe (Suzanna Son), learning that she’s likely underage and that Tedros literally found her on the street, as she shows off her singing talents.
After chatting with Chloe, Destiny goes and listens to the song, offering a few notes, which Tedros decides to address in quite the strange way — blindfolding Jocelyn, whispering that she should forget that anyone is in the room…

after her mother outed him as gay as a teenager, which traumatized him as a teenage actor.
At one point in the episode, Tedros tries to get Xander to admit he’s been lying by using a shock collar on him, which quite literally shocks him into subservience.
While the acting on the show has been bashed by many, @giselleb1234 added, ‘From what I’ve seen online of this show, this one-minute clip of Troye Sivan has the best acting out of everyone I fear.'
He also keeps testing the patience of Jocelyn’s best friend/assistant Leia (Rachel Sennott), constantly berating her before — during another late-night party — he soaks her with a Super Soaker water gun filled with tequila, which upsets Jocelyn.
Jocelyn is seemingly pushed even farther from Tedros later in the episode when Chloe tells her that Dyanne (Jennie Kim) was told by Tedros to bring Jocelyn to Tedros’ club and that Dyanne really liked him.
This is seemingly the last straw for Jocelyn, who proceeds to text her ex-boyfriend Rob — an actor coming off a big superhero movie — and has him come over to her house, as they have sex while a locked-out Tedros starts crying in the hallway.
Tedros seemingly gets the last laugh, though, as he instructs the now-subservient Xavier and a girl named Sophie to take a picture with Rob as he leaves…
